Sri Lanka, particularly Ratnapura, is world renowned for high quality gemstones, especially a wide variety of sapphires from the Corundum family, as well as other precious and semi-precious stones.  The Gem City International Gem and Jewellery Show will offer you the unique opportunity to explore a diverse range of gemstones including rare and unique specimens and also other gem related industries; gem cutting, colour enhancement, jewellery designing and manufacturing.
